Volunteer with Us

We welcome volunteers who share our passion for literacy and literature. We amplify access to area writing and reading resources and partners, and connection to your literary home. As a volunteer, you can make a real difference in someone's life and contribute to the literary community.

Community

What is Literary Community?

Anything that involves gathering around the written or spoken word can be a literary community, and yours is waiting for you!

Storytellers- Book clubs - Poetry Open Mics - Writing Groups - Independent Booksellers - Neighborhood Library - Publishing Conferences - Children's Book Readings - Editorial Professionals - Opinion Contributors - Bloggers - Podcasters - Audio Book Groups - Genre Lovers -  Author Specific - Haiku Workshops - Playwrights - Literature Society - Oral Histories - Songwriters -

Communities meet weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually and hold each other to a principle that advances a collective or individual aspect of literature. These coteries encourage and expand skills, provide safe and stimulating spaces, and build up networks and friendships around common purpose.
